Visa Information

If you are planning to attend the 3rd International Summit on Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology (May 22-24, 2025) in Amsterdam, Netherlands, you may need a Schengen Visa to enter the country. Below is essential information regarding the visa application process:

Do You Need a Visa?

The Netherlands is part of the Schengen Zone, meaning citizens from certain countries can enter without a visa for short stays (up to 90 days within 180 days).

Visa-Exempt Countries

Citizens of the EU, EEA, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, and several other countries do not require a visa for short stays but must ensure their passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond the departure date.

Visa-Required Countries

If you are from India, China, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, and other non-Schengen countries, you must apply for a Schengen Visa before traveling.

Types of Visas for Conference Attendees

  • Short-Stay Schengen Visa (Type C) – This is required for conference participation and business meetings in Amsterdam for up to 90 days.
  • Business Visa – If you are attending as a speaker, exhibitor, or business delegate, you can apply for a Schengen Business Visa under the short-stay visa category.
